2016 Subaru Legacy Owner's Manual
Subaru Legacy is an all-wheel drive sedan of the βDβ class. The world premiere of the facelifted version of the sixth generation of the model took place in February 2017 at the Chicago Auto Show.
And now, three years later, after the premiere of the sixth-generation model, Subaru decided to slightly rejuvenate its all-wheel drive sedan. Now the car began to look much more expressive and even to some extent more aggressive than before. This was facilitated by a new, more elongated radiator grille, modified bumpers, as well as updated rotating LED optics with the function of automatically switching the light from high to low.
Under the hood of the Subaru Legacy, one of two boxer engines can be installed – a 4-cylinder 2.5-liter producing 175 hp. With. power and 236 Nm of torque, or the 3.6-liter EZ series with 256 βhorsesβ and 335 Nm of torque. Moreover, these engines not only migrated to the new generation of the sedan, but were modernized. On the 4-cylinder engine, for example, the intake and exhaust systems were modified, which made it possible to increase torque in the mid-range and reduce fuel consumption. In addition, the engines received new microcontrollers for the control system, which also had a positive effect on fuel consumption. The engines are paired with a Lineatronic variator.
