2019 Subaru Outback is an all-wheel drive station wagon of class “I”. Sixth generation of the model. The car debuted at the New York Auto Show in April 2019.

Having changed generations, the Outback has not changed its philosophy, remaining the same all-terrain station wagon with a protective plastic body kit all around, “Subarov” symmetrical all-wheel drive (the clutch connects the rear axle) and a very impressive ground clearance (220 mm).

At the same time, the sixth generation has a huge advantage over its predecessor – the SGP platform (Subaru Global Platform), which significantly increased the strength and rigidity of the body, lowered the center of gravity, reduced weight and improved handling.

The Outback has grown a little in size. Its length increased by 40 mm (4860), width by 15 mm (1855), and height by 5 mm (1680). The wheelbase has not changed – still the same 2745 mm.
