2019 Subaru XV Owner's Manual
Subaru XV is an all-wheel drive crossover of the βK1β class. The restyled version of the model debuted in July 2015.
Changes in the appearance of the restyled XV are minimal. The Japanese redesigned only the fog lights, taillights and some barely noticeable little things. There are a little more innovations in the cabin. For example, an upgraded multimedia complex, a dashboard with blue backlighting and a larger display on the top of the dashboard. The variator selector has also changed. And, according to the manufacturer, the XVβs cabin has become quieter thanks to improved sound insulation.
The most changes occurred in the chassis of the Subaru XV. Engineers retuned the shock absorbers front and rear and installed stiffer springs, which together resulted in greater cornering stability. In addition, the steering rack has become shorter by 10%, reducing the number of steering wheel revolutions from lock to lock from 3.1 to 2.8. Accordingly, the steering wheelβs responses became a little sharper.
Inside, the changes are more noticeable, but the interior design still remains quite conservative. The Japanese explain this by the preferences of the target audience. The front panel has become more plastic, but the location of its main components is exactly the same. Even the visor in the center, under which the on-board computer display is hidden, has not gone anywhere! Below it is an 8-inch display of the new STARLINK multimedia system, which has received all modern functions. Work on the interior was carried out not only in terms of design, but to improve the quality of materials and sound insulation.
