2013 Subaru Brz Owner's Manual
Subaru BRZ is a rear-wheel drive coupe, created in collaboration with Toyota. The world premiere of the production version of the model took place at the very end of November 2011 at the Tokyo Motor Show.
Even though the BRZ is nothing more than the twin brother of the Toyota GT 86, there’s a lot more Subaru about this car than you might think. The coupe was built on a modified Impreza platform with McPherson struts at the front and a multi-link design at the rear. The length of the BRZ is 4240 mm, its width is 1775 mm, and its height is 1300. The wheelbase length is 2570 mm. And all this with a curb weight of 1202-1224 kg, depending on the type of gearbox.
One of the few differences between the Subaru BRZ and the Toyota GT 86 is the radiator grille and taillights. Everything in the interior is identical, as are the trim levels of the twin coupes.
