2013 Subaru Outback Owner's Manual
2013 Subaru Outback is an all-wheel drive station wagon of class “I”. The debut of the restyled version of the model took place at the New York Auto Show in April 2012.
The result of the work of Subaru designers to update the Outback was the appearance of a new front bumper, a different radiator grille and modified fog lights on the car. All this, as conceived by the authors of the Outback’s appearance, should make it even more formidable, since the car’s task is not only to navigate safely on asphalt roads, but also to tackle light off-road conditions.
The ground clearance of 22 cm and the proprietary Japanese all-wheel drive system are clear confirmation of this. Moreover, the all-wheel drive can be either differential with locking, that is, the traction is distributed equally between the axles, or with a planetary center differential, locked with an electro-hydraulic clutch.
