2019 Subaru Impreza Owner's Manual
Subaru Impreza is an all-wheel drive class βCβ hatchback. The debut of the fifth generation of the model took place at the New York Auto Show in December 2016.
Compared to its predecessor, the Impreza V has not changed dramatically. However, the body shape has slightly changed its shape, acquiring several smooth lines. The body kit also changed its configuration, followed by an updated radiator grille and LED lighting.
The main features of the Impreza’s interior have also not changed fundamentally. The dashboard has been revised, the main change of which is worth noting is the increase in the color display of the on-board computer. The shape of the steering wheel was also revised; it was also covered with genuine leather and made of aluminum alloy. In addition, a 6.5-inch screen supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay appeared on the center console.
The car is built on the SGP platform, due to which the structural rigidity, in comparison with previous models, has increased by 70%, body roll has decreased by approximately 50%, and the oncoming energy absorption characteristics upon impact have increased by 40%.
Classic for the entire model range, the fifth generation Impreza is already equipped with symmetrical all-wheel drive in the basic version.
The model is driven by a 152-horsepower Subaru Boxer engine with opposed cylinders. In tandem with it, a proprietary Lineartronic CVT variator or a 6-speed manual transmission can work.
