2023 Subaru Solterra is an all-wheel drive electric crossover of the “K1” class. Car used for performances at leaf fall 2021. The model went on sale in the first half of 2022.

Subaru Solterra 2023 is a joint project between Subaru and Toyota. And it just so happened that the two brands have the first full-fledged electric car (Toyota has a model called bZ4X).

An electric crossover is built on the e-Subaru Global Platform with MacPherson struts in front and suspended transverse struts at the rear, with disc trim and ventilation along the column (hello Audi Q4 e-tron and Volkswagen ID.4). It’s interesting that Toyota is now indicating that this is an e-TNGA platform. However, let us be clear that two companies are responsible for the development of the “vezka”.

It is not surprising that the two models have the same appearance, however – the difference is in the details. For example, Subaru has a six-cut plastic false grille, while Toyota has just a solid bumper. Solterri’s bumper itself, facing the bZ4X, has two fog lights. The optics also improve, but not in shape, but in graphics.

And the axis in the interior of the two crossovers is completely different.

The 2023 Subaru Solterra is powered by two electric motors (218 horsepower) powered by a 71.4 kilowatt battery. The range is up to 466 km (WLTP).

Dynamics 0-100 – 6.9 seconds, maximum speed – 160 km/year.

The crossover has an AWD X-mode gearbox, which has been added with the Grip Control function.
